A couple with three grown up children soon to be moving out have been living in their home for 17 years, and have never touched up the decoration of the house. The only place they had redecorated was the bathroom, which was a DIY job. The family were not overwhelmed by the results, so decided to hire an interior designer to fill in the gaps they were unable to.
The required room for decoration are the bathroom, master bedroom, and the box room redesigned into a study.
The family are looking to spend £15,000 maximum and want it to be eco-friendly to keep the costs down.
The bathroom itself is separate to the toilet, and they are planning to knock the dividing wall down to increase the space in the bathroom. There is also the airing cupboard and a built in cupboard connecting to the bathroom; these walls will also be knocked down.
